Our story
More than a decade of altering what's possible.
The Allter name was born in 2018 — but the work started years earlier. Over 10 years of building, one craft at a time, each chapter earned by the last.
Two founders, one belief.
After years of freelancing, Edbert Bruguera Leo and Freya Karlay gave the work a name: Allter. Founded as a social media agency, but with a bigger mission written into the name itself — Altering All. Ideas deserve to be built, not shelved.
The journey
Every chapter taught us the next one.
The years before the name 10+ years of craft
Long before Allter existed, we were already building — years of freelance work across design and digital, learning every discipline hands-on. By the time the brand was born, the craft was already a decade deep.
The work gets a name 12 November 2018
Allter is born, starting where brands live: social media. Strategy, content, and campaigns taught us how attention works — and how a story earns it. It also taught us to design and produce fast, under real deadlines, for real audiences.
Into the physical world 2019
One year in, we ventured into event construction — designing and building the booths, stages, and brand spaces where campaigns meet crowds. Our first lesson in making things that have to stand up in the real world, on time, every time.
Brands needed a home online
Websites and digital experiences became the natural next craft. For the first time, our designers and developers built side by side at one table — and we discovered that's where the best work happens.
Deeper than the surface
Clients kept asking for things no off-the-shelf software could do. So we built them: custom IT systems for web and app — ERP platforms, warehouse and stock control, event registration engines. Software fitted to how each business actually runs.
Beyond the screen now
Today we're building toward IoT and original product invention — with an IoT engineer joining the table so our ideas can finally leave the screen. This is the chapter we were founded for: things you can hold.
Why the name
The name is the promise.
Allter means Altering All: any idea, any system, any industry. It's why we never say "that's not what we do" — every chapter of our story started as something we didn't do yet.
Even our logo carries it: two lines crossing — design and engineering — meeting at the point where products are born.
